Getting Started ...

Please first login to begin your selection.

Premiership Instant Alert is an SMS service, which brings you all the action from match days in
real-time. Alerts for starting line-up, goal flashes, red cards, half time and full time scores will be sent to your handset instantly for your selected match.

You can choose to subscribe either by "Team" or by "Match".

Select by Team
1. From the Football SMS homepage, click either the <Premiership Instant Alert button> or <Instant Alert> link. The latter will take you directly to the team and match selection page.
2. If the Premiership Instant Alert button was selected on the previous screen, then click the Premiership Instant Alert <by Team> button. You will then be taken to the team selection page.
3. Select your team from the drop-down menu and also include the recipient's mobile number. Click <add>.
4. Your selected team and mobile details will now be displayed to the right of the screen under 'My selected team'.

Select by Match
1. From the Football SMS homepage, click either the <Premiership Instant Alert button> or <Instant Alert> link. The latter will take you directly to the team and match selection pages.
2. If the Premiership Instant Alert button was selected, click the Premiership Instant Alert <by Match> button. You can either select a match by a specific date or select matches scheduled over the next 30 days. After the day or scheduled date is selected, hit the <go> button. You will then be directed to the selection page that will contain the matches on the dates you specified.
3. Select a match, enter the receiver's mobile number, choose the language of the alerts and then click the <add> button. You may select a combination of 5 different mobile numbers and 5 different matches from this screen.
4. To view your selections, just click the <view selection> button. You will be taken to the 'My selection' page. Here you can view or delete all your previous selections.

Making changes to my Premiership Instant Alert selections
You can only add to or delete a current selection.

Delete selections
Deleting a selected team is very simple. Simply check the box next to the teams and click the <delete> button.

Add selections
See Select by Team and Select by Match above.

News headlines on your selected team will be sent to your mobile handset as they become available.

1. What is Football SMS.

This is 2 services, Premiership Instant Alert and Premiership Team News.

2. Can I receive Football SMS while I am in overseas?

Yes, you still can receive SMS overseas. However, users may need to pay additional short message roaming fee. Please refer to roaming charges leaflet.

3. I have subscribed, but no messages have been received on my handset.

There are few possible reasons.

I.	Recipient's handset is turned off.
II.	Recipients handset is out of coverage.
III.	Recipient's short message memory is full. Recipients should delete stored messages before they can receive any new messages.
IV.	Recipient's handset does not support SMS.
V.	The match has been cancelled or postponed.

4. What happens if a match goes to penalties, will I receive lots of alert messages?

When penalties are needed to decide a match after extra-time, alerts will not be sent out on a per penalty basis, but on the final match result.

5. If I selected a match by scheduled and it is later postponed, will I receive alerts when the fixture is eventually played?

No you will not. We will only send you alerts for the scheduled matches you selected. If you made your selected matches on a team basis, we will continue to send alerts even if match schedules are revised.
